  1. I think Jabber is going to have to think of someone other than himself for once. Character growth. I’m glad; he’s been annoyingly selfish so far.
    When I think about it, Jabber acquired Cry in Chapter 2 and a whole pilgrim clan/family/herd in Chapter 3. (He twice ordered them out of the bushes and they went… and got eaten.) In Chapter 1, he flew up and demanded the gods accept him and, well, pride goes before a fall. It seems like Jabber is now being forced into acting like a god, at least in the sense of guiding and caring for a set of pilgrims.
